DEBRA

Divers Electronic Beach Reconnaissance Aid (DEBRA) for shallow water diver navigation and the logging of seabed profiles.

DEBRA, a swimboard carried by a combat diver, measures and logs own depth and altitude above the seabed, displays and logs GPS positional data that can be downloaded and utilised for mission planning.

DEBRA reduces the diver workload and enables accurate beach surveys to be carried out considerably faster thereby lowering the risk to the operator.

DEBRA is in service with the UK Royal Navy.
