Distributed Common Ground System – Navy (DCGS-N)
By leveraging our digital photogrammetric, geopositioning and distributed information technology solutions heritage, BAE Systems offers a unique perspective on creating, managing and supporting enterprise solutions for intelligence and defense customers in the C4ISR market.
BAE Systems has 23 years of experience fielding scalable and extensible enterprise solutions delivering the right information to the right people at the right time. Over that time, we have integrated evolutionary and transformational technologies, enabled by engineering process best practices and providing game-changing capability advances in support of end-user mission requirements.
Today, BAE Systems designs, develops, implements and supports e-business and service-oriented architecture solutions and components in the Maritime C4I domain. These include the Joint Service Imagery Processing System-Navy (JSIPS-N), Air Force Distributed Common Ground System 10.2 (DCGS), Distributed Common Ground System - Navy (DCGS-N) Block 1 and DCGS-N Enterprise Node (DEN). For DCGS-N Block 1, our engineering team designed and delivered Common Geopositioning Services (CGS), the Image Product Library (IPL) integrated with an ISNS-representative infrastructure platform. As DEN integrators, BAE Systems delivered a capability meeting and exceeding the U.S. Navy’s net-ready and multi-Service interoperability Key Performance Parameters (KPPs).
